My Story

I have always been interested in aesthetics, the way things look, patterns, colour and how these things can be interpreted. I believe this started as a result of being taken to Dance class from the age of 4. The absolute and unwavering focus on movement looking a certain way and the attention to detail in the way the movement was expressed really resonated with me.

I was bought my first DSLR camera in my early 20's by my other half. I dabbled for a few years trying to drill down into what I was truly interested in capturing. The moment that gave me my focus was meeting Ozzy and Flash, my 2 Jack Russell Terriers, for the first time when they were 3 weeks old. They were so tiny and perfect and it dawned on me that they would not stay like this for very long. I knew then that these precious moments needed to be captured and that making the temporary permanent was what I wanted to do. And the rest, as they say, is history!
